The government, led by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, is supporting the development of a modern industrial base based on advanced manufacturing, technology transfer, and deepening local content, contributing to raising the level of economic complexity and increasing the added value of Egyptian products.

Specialized free and industrial zones represent a fundamental pillar in the manufacturing-for-export system, featuring direct links to ports and logistics centers, simplified procedures, and incentives supporting competitive production.

As part of a comprehensive plan led by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade to enhance supply chain efficiency, an integrated system is being developed including modern infrastructure, transport networks, ports, and logistics zones, alongside simplified procedures and accelerated customs clearance, enabling industrial projects to reduce export costs and time, and enhance their ability to meet global market requirements.
