Presidential Decree No. 284 of 1997 incorporating the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI)

Presidential Decree No. 284 of 1997 was issued to incroporate the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) as an economic authority with legal personality, affiliated with the Minister of Economy. GAFI aims to regulate, promote, and manage investment in Egypt, and to actively promote it in order to attract both domestic and foreign investments.
