  • We possess a portfolio of fully serviced land plots for industrial and real estate developers, in accordance with the highest international standards.

In a strategic move to open new horizons for "exporting Egyptian real estate," Dr. Mohamed Farid, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, met with Mr. Ryan McLaughlin, CEO of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR), to discuss ways to position Egyptian real estate on the global American investment map.

During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the unprecedented urban development boom in Egypt, emphasizing that the state is not merely offering housing units, but rather providing comprehensive investment opportunities in new cities and investment zones. He pointed to the availability of serviced land and world-class infrastructure targeting real estate developers and industrialists seeking to expand in the Middle East and Africa region.

The meeting included discussions on transferring American expertise in real estate technology, particularly in the development of data centers and smart buildings.

The NVAR delegation expressed strong interest in guiding American developers to invest in these vital sectors in Egypt, given its strategic location, submarine cables, and renewable energy potential.

Both sides agreed to activate a partnership that includes promotional tours and the organization of major events in the United States to showcase Egypt's real estate and investment opportunities to leading investors. They also discussed cooperation with the Export Council for Real Estate to exchange data, paving the way for the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two parties in the near future.

The two parties agreed to organize a field visit for a delegation from NVAR to Egypt to inspect major national projects and logistics zones as a practical step to attract investment.

NVAR is one of the leading professional real estate organizations in the United States, with over 13,000 certified real estate brokers and professionals as members. Its members represent over USD19 billion in annual real estate transactions in Northern Virginia, one of the most important real estate markets in the US. Northern Virginia is also globally significant as one of the world's largest data center hubs, handling a large percentage of global internet traffic passes, which has given it advantages in the technology and digital infrastructure sectors.

The strategic importance of collaborating with NVAR lies in its extensive network of relationships connecting major real estate developers and international investors, making it a valuable partner in supporting the Egyptian government's efforts to export real estate and attract high-quality investments, particularly in the technology and advanced logistics sectors.
