Egypt-Finalnd Business Forum is an economic event launched by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT) of the Arab Republic of Egypt, aimed at strengthening investment and trade cooperation between Egypt and Finland. The Forum seeks to open new avenues for partnerships between the business communities of both countries and to promote technology transfer and investment across key sectors, including industry, renewable energy, telecommunications, and engineering industries. This supports sustainable development plans and reinforces Egypt’s role as a regional investment hub.

Egypt-Finland Business Forum: Technology Transfer and Deepening Sustainability and Innovation Partnerships
The Forum provided a high-level strategic platform to enhance and deepen economic and investment cooperation between Egypt and Finland, shifting bilateral relations from traditional trade exchange toward integrated investment partnerships based on innovation and sustainability. The Forum featured specialized sectoral sessions aimed at fostering closer engagement between the private sectors of both countries and showcased the competitive advantages of the Egyptian market as a promising hub for regional expansion across Africa and the Middle East, supported by advanced infrastructure and a streamlined digital business environment.
In his remarks, Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh stated that economic relations between Egypt and Finland are entering an advanced stage of cooperation built on shared interests and a long-term development vision. He emphasized that the government places top priority on creating a competitive business environment, simplifying procedures to attract foreign direct investment, and supporting export growth strategies.
MIFT Minister added that cooperation with the Finnish side represents a key opportunity for technology transfer and capacity building in sectors such as manufacturing, telecommunications, healthcare, renewable energy, and engineering industries, thereby opening new horizons for economic and trade cooperation and further strengthening bilateral partnership ties between both countries.
