Egypt Expo and Convention Authority (EECA) is the official governmental entity responsible for organizing and managing Egypt’s international and domestic events and exhibitions industry. Established under Law No. 323 of 1956, EECA has evolved through several key milestones, including the integration of the Cairo International Convention Centre in 2008 and its comprehensive restructuring under Presidential Decree No. 345 of 2009. Today, EECA stands as a fully integrated economic institution.

Supporting the National Economy: Operating under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, EECA plays a vital role in stimulating both domestic and international trade, while supporting the expansion of Egyptian exports into global markets.

Organization and Regulation: EECA is responsible for organizing specialized exhibitions and issuing licenses to companies operating in this sector, thereby ensuring high standards and quality across Egypt’s exhibitions industry.

International Promotion: EECA adopts expansion-oriented strategies through the organization of Egyptian pavilions in international forums and organizing independent exhibitions aimed at enhancing the marketing competitiveness of Egyptian products abroad.

Management of Exhibition and Conference Facilities: EECA supervises the operation and development of the conference and exhibition halls complex in Nasr City in accordance with the highest technical standards, thereby reinforcing Egypt’s position as a leading regional hub and an attractive destination for investments and major events.

Accordingly, EECA strengthens its role as a central organizing entity and a key driver of foreign trade development, consolidating its position as an effective official platform for promoting Egyptian industry, attracting investments, and supporting the achievement of the State’s economic objectives.
